Laduree Review London

The Laduree London branch that I visited is tucked away in a little corner in Covent garden. It has unique decor. Pastel green, with touches of cream and pastel pink, which make for a light, dreamy, feminine atmosphere.

Laduree was well stocked when I visited, with tons of macaron flavours to choose from. A friendly native french man was serving. I asked him what the most popular items were. He pointed to some chocolate thingy - I can't remember the name. He also said that Isaphan was a customer favourite.

Paul's Patisserie Review With Photos Of My Purchases

One lazy Sunday I found myself at Paul's Patisserie after much procrastinating.

I visited the South East London branch of Paul's Patisserie where I received good service - worth a mention because good service always makes for a more enjoyable experience. I'm pretty sure you'll agree! Paul's Patisserie was clean, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Paul's Patisserie looks old school. As if pulled from 1889 - The year in which it was originally founded. There were some brownie samples on the counter, which I didn't try but my son enjoyed his, however he tends to be quite easy to please!

Based off of this visit, I find Paul's patisserie pretty basic if I'm honest. Nothing really eye catching on display. They sell fresh bread, simple savoury options like cheese toasties and a few sweet treats. I only ended up purchasing a giant vanilla macaron and a coffee cream eclair.

Belle Epoque Patisserie Review With Photos Of My Purchases

If you're on instagram you've probably seen this beautiful looking gold eclair floating around and wondered to yourself if it's even real! Perhaps it's just a unique ornament - Or some kind of new age jewellery. It almost seems rude to eat such a well put together choux pastry! Well I ate one anyway... It's definitely not jewellery.
