To celebrate the launch of the new A La Carte menu for Bangalore Express City by Chef Patron Yogesh Datta. Myself and some other food bloggers were invited to enjoy an evening meal and drinks at the Bangalore Express.

The venue is suitable for celebrations and date nights - not epic date nights mind.

I went to Ping Pong with my boo and our 10 year old son. Ping Pong is a dimly lit restaurant and it was busy when we arrived. There were no kids in sight. It seemed to be more of an adult restaurant, but we didn't let that bother us too much.

Poppy Hana Japanese Restaurant Review

Poppy Hana is a little Japanese restaurant in south London. Poppy Hana serve up some flavoursome Japanese cuisine at pretty decent prices. The menu at Poppy Hana consists of more than just bento boxes and sushi - For which I am thankful.

Poppy Hana also sell soups, noodles and rice dishes, which are served steaming hot and well seasoned. The portions are a generous size too. I've previously tried chicken fried rice, which is available mild or spicy. I've also tried the chicken yaki udon noodles at Poppy Hana plus a few sips of soup.

Silk Road Camberwell Restaurant Review

Taking a trip through the rougher parts of London isn't on my list of top things to do - unless you plan to fill up on some positively memorable food like I did on a visit through Camberwell a few days ago.

The days are getting darker. To top it all off, it was wet and cold enough for gloves when I made a trip to Silk Road - A Chinese restaurant in Camberwell. This joint had better live up to the hype!
