There are loads of cluttery things on sale, but I was there for - you guessed it. The food!

Liberty Cheese Steak Food Truck at Old Spitalfields Market |
Along the way I passed quite a few foodie spots that are on my edible bucket list. We almost
stopped off at one of the restaurants, because of the depressingly grey clouds that had been fretting all day. I'm so glad that we didn't.
Old Spitalfields market houses an array of food joints. Including food trucks and actual restaurants.
Between the array of stalls and shops is where you'll find the different mini food trucks, food stands and restaurants that Old Spitalfields Market has to offer. There are a good number of well loved food spots in Old Spitalfields market, and I plan on coming back to check them out and do a review.
You can take your pick, from burgers to fish and chips. Latin food, cakes and doughnuts. Or even the Philly Cheese Steak food truck that we checked out.
After lunch we headed back through Old Spitalfields Market and I clapped eyes on Lola's Cupcakes, Crosstown Doughnuts and Bread Ahead Bakery. I nonchalantly walked past the many places that sell anything from creepy 2nd hand to expensive fur.
As you know, I was there for the food! I snagged a box of 6 crosstown doughnuts and boy was I happy about getting my hands on the last raspberry doughnut and glazed ring crodough.
Then I saw bread ahead bakery and couldn't turn down the opportunity to try their infamous salted caramel doughnut plus a yummy chocolate filled doughnut.
I left Old Spitalfields Market feeling smitten, even though it was one of the greyest days so far this year and had started to rain.
