The cookie experience are a bit of a deceptive company from my "cookie" experience. I ordered s'moreo cookies for my birthday - based off of the amazing looking photos on the cookie experience website. A chocolate chip cookie with oreo pieces and marshmallow s'mores. After taste testing one of the s'moreo cookies before my party. I was

unimpressed.

The cookie tasted like a regular old cookie from a regular old shop. Not buttery. Not chewy and definitely not moorish.

Comparing the generous amount of chocolate chip, oreo pieces and marshmallow s'mores in the cookie experience photos. My actual cookies could have passed for totally different cookies! The barely-there pieces of marshmallow went unnoticed. Had I eaten these cookies blindfolded, I would never have guessed that there were s'mores!

Where was the fluffy, gooey marshmallow that I longed for? It was a sad sad case of #expectationvsreality with these cookies from the cookie experience.

I also ordered cookie dough truffles - a unique food hybrid from the cookie experience. Sadly these too were just ok. The cocoa powder on the outside of the cookie dough truffles is a bit full on, giving the truffles too much of a sour taste. The cookie dough center is just average in taste and texture.

Not much I can say about the taste of the "where are the s'mores" cookies or the cookie dough truffles - as the flavours of both were lacking.
