a fair trade chocolate company, which make all of their chocolate right in Madagascar.
I was given two lovely bars of Madecasse fair trade madagascan chocolate to try. The first being hazelnut, cinnamon and 70% dark chocolate. I must say, it's not too bitter. Much more pleasant than I had expected. Madecasse hazelnut and dark chocolate is quite mild. Not too sweet, with visible pieces of hazelnut on the under side of the chocolate bar. The hazelnuts are slightly salty. If you like salt and sweet you'll probably enjoy this bar from Madecasse. I couldn't taste any cinnamon.

Madecasse Dark Chocolate With Hazelnut |
The second bar of chocolate contained 63% dark chocolate with orange and cranberries. Madecasse orange and cranberry chocolate bar is very smooth, with a light taste of orange and real cranberry pieces. The cranberry pieces are soft and not sharp tasting. I prefer this chocolate to the hazelnut. Chocolate tends to go well with orange and cranberries.
Madecasse also sell other interesting dark chocolate flavours including peppermint and winter spice. Madecasse also sell dark chocolate disks and an 80% dark chocolate bar option.
Madecasse chocolates are a great choice for those with a milder sweet tooth.
