Sadly, I'm allergic to peanuts. So I always welcome peanut butter alternatives. Besides, who doesn't want to
take biscuit enjoyment to the next level by spreading biscuits all over their bread!
Safe to say, lotus crunchy biscoff spread didn't last long in my house. I unfairly hogged the biscoff spread like a spoilt brat - For which I am sorry!
Lotus biscoff spread is pleasantly sweet. It has a mild taste of ginger nuts aka ginger biscuits. It's a thick, crunchy biscuit paste, but not too crunchy. I enjoyed lotus crunchy biscoff spread on hot toast. Also straight out the jar! I imagine it to taste pretty nice as a cake topping. Sandwiched between even more biscuits and so on.
Lotus is a popular biscuit, although I had only tried Lotus biscuits recently. Lotus is apparently a coffee drinker's best friend. Though I'm not much of a coffee drinker myself.
The Lotus biscoff spread came with a krispy kreme sticker, which entitled me to a free biscoff krispy kreme doughnet. However I annoyingly forgot and threw the container away. I got round to trying out the new krispy kreme biscoff doughnut anyway. Click here to read my review.
