Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - Lotus Biscoff Caramelised Doughnut Review

Lulling around Westfields before school run landed me at the Krispy kreme doughnut stand. I can't deny the visual beauty of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The large variety of krispy kreme doughnut options left me unsure of which doughnuts to pick.

After trying the lotus biscoff spread, I decided to order a new, lotus biscoff caramelised doughnut from krispy kreme. I also decided on a strawberry ring doughnut. Largely due to it's appearance. Lucky number three was a krispy kreme lemon meringue doughnut. I love lemon meringue, and it sure makes for a unique doughnut.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

The krispy kreme biscoff doughnut has
crumbly Lotus biscoff biscuit topping on one half and soft caramel icing, with white chocolate flakes on the other. The center of the doughnut contains a little sweet cream.

The krispy kreme caramelised biscoff doughnut is soft and sweet but not very memorable or unique in flavour in my opinion.

I have a confession to make..I've never been the biggest krispy kreme doughnut fan. So I was taking a risk trying krispy kreme again.

The krispy kreme strawberry ring doughnut has very light, fluffy dough. Light crisp icing and a thin layer of shiny pink icing, which looks like nail varnish!

The krispy kreme lemon meringue doughnut was the one I was most looking forward to. However it was just ok. I enjoyed the zesty lemon in the center, but I find krispy kreme doughnuts are always either a little too chewy or too airy. This doughnut was no exception.
