Rocket Restaurant Review

Settling in to our seats at rocket we enjoyed a nice view out the window of the gherkin.

For starters we chose the
chick pea cakes and lamb kofta.

3 tender, well flavoured lamb koftas sit on top orange segments and pomegranate seeds. It's a tasty starter.

The chick pea cakes are soft and served with fresh veg. Spring onion. Cucumber and purple salad leaves. Sweet jam sauce and a mild, tangy, creamy yogurt sauce

For my main I chose a smoked chicken pizza which arrived nice and hot, with a soft, thin base. It's quite a large size with a generous helping of fresh rocket and chicken pieces that are tender and flavoursome.

J chose the Chicken Milanese salad. A large piece of chicken in breadcrumbs is served alongside fresh salad, cheese and capers.

The dessert menu at Rocket city contains a variety of options. Choose from dessert cocktails, ice creams, hot desserts and cheese boards.

I was torn between the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream or the choc brownie.

I'm so glad I went for the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream. The salted caramel ice cream is the best I've tasted thus far. It's noticeably salted without being overpowering. The ice cream is smooth, creamy and tastes just like Worther's Originals! It compliments the delicious sticky toffee pudding perfectly.
