Rio Market Special St Katherines Dock

To celebrate the start of the 2016 Olympics in Rio - Brazil a Rio market festival took place at London's St Katherines Dock. Courtesy of Epicurean Events
Street Food

Thankfully the weather was good and we enjoyed
our stroll along the waterside with up close views of the boats at St Katherines Dock.

The small outdoor food market paid tribute to Brazil with flags and balloons in the colours of the Brazillian flag.

I was unsure of what to order at first. With tasty looking paella, wraps, burgers, hotdogs and more to choose from. The cuisine available varied from Indian to Chinese. Brazillian to British.
Pie

We settled on a pie from crafty pies. The jerk chicken with sweet potato pie was vegetarian and tasted pretty good. The pies at crafty pies have a unique twist with the ability to choose from some refreshing sauce ideas. Including the chocolate and chipotle sauce and the peach and jalapeƱo sauce. I chose the latter.

We then shared a tasty english muffin from muffin man and co - It came with delicious hot melt in the mouth sweet potato fries and a creamy slaw.
Pulled Duck Muffin

We chose the pulled duck burger which was yummy and contained fresh salad in a soft english muffin.

Although the Rio market special was a one off event. The food market is at St Katherines Dock every day from 11am-3am.
