Zia Lucia Review

Zia Lucia is a casual restaurant in North London serving up top quality pizzas. I like that Zia Lucia use healthy pizza bases such as a charcoal and wholemeal base. We ordered starters to go along with our pizzas.

The starters themselves could
almost pass for mains. They're a hearty size. The bruschetta is homemade and three different breads are served. White, charcoal and wholemeal, plus fresh tomatoes and salad.
Bruschetta Starter

The foccacia starter is like a pizza in itself. Perfectly baked slices are served with fresh herbs, olive oil and vinegar.

For our mains we ordered a charcoal navoli pizza and a wholemeal andrea pirlo pizza.

Our pizzas arrived nice and hot and both pizzas had a soft, fresh thin dough base.

The navoli pizza at Zia Lucia has a tomato base, mozarella cheese, anchovies and capers. The tomato and mozarella taste lovely and fresh. The anchovies add a strong savory flavour.

The Andrea Pirlo pizza at Zia Lucia has mozarella and gorgonzola cheese. Thin apple slices. Truffle and a unique olive sauce. It is a mildly bitter sweet pizza, thanks to the olive sauce and apple slices.
